Acquiring our first show Siamese began a journey we never expected to travel. "Princess Grace" was our
first show cat, our first Champion and our first Regional Winner. She is the full sister to National winner GC NW Teysha's Charmed Prince and he was in the process of achieving this great accomplishment when we acquired her.

Grace at six months of age.
From the first day we became owners of Grace our world slowly began to revolve around her....and she soon owned us! She became our little morning wake
up call and we enjoyed many hours of playing fetch
with her. She soon became my shadow and we
patiently waited till she turned 8 months old to take
her to her first CFA cat show. I searched for tips on
how to groom and condition her and traveled to many shows just to watch. The day finally came and on January 12, 2008 we entered her in the Ridgecrest California cat show. We thought going to a small town meant a small show...however we were shocked to find a class of very lovely seal point cats. Grace got her championship ribbons quickly
and we then moved on to the task of
showing her to Grand.
We were thrilled
as
she seemed to accomplish this with ease.
She granded at the San Jose show on
March 15th and had already garnered
several hundred South West Regional
points. The
end of the show season is on
May 1st, only
a few months away...but we made a decision
to see just how far she
could go.

Grace As A Young Grand
In only six more shows Grace went all the way to the finish line...and landed with just enough points in the South West Region to be named the 25th Best all breed cat. On to the Regional celebration we went. Today we proudly display Grace's Ribbons and plaque. It was a thrill and a special thanks goes out to Debbie Stevenson who "mentored" me through the planned strategy necessary to win. We cheered each other on as Debbi finished her lovely Siamese as the number one Siamese cat in the nation, GC BW RW New Moon Lexington of Shimasu.
My first trip to "the Annual" followed and it was an event to remember as we joined with other National winning cats and supported Debbi in her outstanding championship win with Lexie. Along side us was Virginia Wheeldon and Susan Perkins with their best national kitten award. Fun was had by all and while fond memories linger the challenges of other wins tempts us to compete again with even higher goals!!!
