Our cattery was registered in 2007 and since we're passionate about the Siamese breed, it was important to create a cattery name that best describes our hopes for the future. "Haute" means the "top" standard ...and it is our goal to breed Siamese for excellent health, temperament and show quality. In the world of fashion, "Haute" speaks to the finest in design, and is a standard by which each custom, one-of-a-kind garment is created. Our hope for Haute-Ming Siamese is also to express our own unique style and an elegant look, with cats of sound temperament and health.
The Haute couture designers are "Taste-makers", and set the trends that flow from the runways of Paris and Milan to the looks that are copied in some of today's best department stores. Haute-Couture is the pinnacle of fashion ...and it's a thrill to own a dress that will spawn a thousand copies. In the world of the best Siamese show cats of today, there are only a handful of top "taste maker" breeders who have produced the consistent excellence that we most admire. Thaifong Siamese, Ayuthaya Siamese and Shimasu Siamese are the trendsetters of the look that countless exhibitors and judges aspire to the thrill of owning. It is with grateful hearts that we thank them for their trust and faith in us. From this heritage, we can build our own essence of style - their generations of excellent National award winning Siamese cats are the foundation behind our Haute-Ming Siamese. Virginia Wheeldon, Susan Perkins and Debbi Stevenson are the friends and hidden treasure behind our Haute-Ming Siamese. Perfection in fashion is a thrill and never goes out of style, and neither do the elegance, refinement, loveliness and grandeur of the finely bred Siamese cat. We concur with Leonardo Da Vinci when he said: “the smallest feline is a masterpiece".
